Red Snapper Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of the National Probation Service for a qualified Probation Officer to support Sentence Management remotely for the Ealing PDU.

This part-time position is ideal for experienced POs seeking flexible, remote working arrangements while contributing to high-quality case management and public protection.

Location: Remote (Ealing PDU)
Contract Length: 3 months, with possibility of extension
Hours: 22 hours per week (part-time)
Pay Rate: -22.10 per hour (PAYE) or -29.09 per hour (via Umbrella)

• Manage a reduced caseload of individuals subject to probation supervision

• Complete sentence plans, risk assessments, and reviews using OASys and NDelius

• Monitor compliance, enforce licence or court order conditions, and initiate breach proceedings where necessary

• Liaise remotely with service users, partner agencies, and internal colleagues to support rehabilitation and risk management

• Contribute to safeguarding and public protection processes, including MAPPA

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

• Qualified Probation Officer (Diploma in Probation Studies, PQF, or equivalent)

• Proven experience in Sentence Management

• Strong understanding of probation practice, risk assessment, and offender management

• Ability to work independently and remotely, using probation case management systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Enhanced DBS check (can be processed as part of onboarding)
