Civil Engineer - Nuclear ProjectRate: Up to 46.50 per hour, Umbrella PAYELocation: Culham, Oxfordshire - hybrid workingContract: Long-term contractWe are seeking a Civil Engineer to support the design and delivery of civil engineering infrastructure for a major nuclear project based at Culham. The role will involve providing technical expertise and assurance across a range of civil infrastructure, including buildings, foundations, drainage and utilities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting the project through design, procurement, construction and commissioning. Key Responsibilities:Review and provide technical assurance of civil and structural engineering designs.Produce and review engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.Support the design of buildings, foundations, drainage and utilities.Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop integrated design solutions.Manage and provide technical oversight of external contractors and consultants.Identify engineering risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Support procurement activities, including scopes of work and tender evaluations.Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards, Eurocodes and CDM regulations.Essential Experience:Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering.Experience in civil engineering design and/or infrastructure project delivery.Good knowledge of UK design standards, including Eurocodes and British ..... full job details .....
