Scheme Manager - Retirement HousingBedfordPart Time - 30 Hours Per Week (Flexible Working Hours Available)Up to 20.00 Per HourImmediate Start AvailableAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and customer-focused Scheme Manager to join a well-established housing provider within a retirement living environment in Bedford.This is a rewarding role supporting older residents to live independently while ensuring the scheme is safe, welcoming, and well managed on a day-to-day basis.The position is initially temporary, with the opportunity to apply for the permanent role.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day housing management support within a retirement schemeAct as the main point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitorsCarry out regular health and safety checks and scheme inspectionsSupport residents with tenancy-related queries and wellbeing concernsReport and monitor repairs and maintenance issuesPromote resident engagement and foster a positive community environmentMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and proceduresAbout YouPrevious experience within housing, retirement living, supported housing, or scheme managementStrong communication and customer service skillsAble to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyGood understanding of safeguarding and health and safety responsibilitiesEmpathetic, approachable, and organisedWhat''s On OfferImmediate startFlexible working hours across a 30-hour weekCompetitive hourly rat
