Janitor Location: Cramlington Shifts: 6am - 6pm Pay Rate: 15.18The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining laboratories, offices, washrooms, hallways, and common areas. The role includes waste disposal, restocking supplies, responding to cleaning requests, and supporting general facility upkeep.Key ResponsibilitiesClean labs, offices, washrooms, hallways, and cafeteria areasCollect and dispose of waste and recyclingDust, clean windows, and polish fixturesRefill paper, soap, and garment dispensersRespond to cleaning and basic maintenance requestsSupport facility projects (floor care, vent cleaning, etc.)Maintain outdoor areas (walkways, entrances, smoking areas)Assist with snow removal and salting during winterKeep cleaning and maintenance supplies stockedPerform other duties as requiredExperience and SkillsPrevious cleaning or maintenance experience preferredAble to work independently with minimal supervisionGood communication and teamwork skillsComfortable working shift schedulesBasic English proficiency (spoken and written)Attention to detail and reliabilityExperience in pharmaceutical or food environments is an assetPhysical RequirementsRepetitive and routine workOccasional lifting and moving of furniture or boxesMostly indoor work environmentSome exposure to dust, fumes, noise, or temperature changesApply now and a member of our team will be in touch!
