We are looking to speak to experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to deliver-a major long-term civil engineering framework. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful commercial management of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with clients, delivery teams, and supply chain partners.

The successful candidate will take ownership of commercial activities across multiple projects, ensuring value is maximised while maintaining strong contractual and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of civil engineering projects from tender through to final account.
• Administer NEC contracts (or equivalent), including compensation events, early warnings, and change management.
• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Value completed works and prepare applications for payment.
• Assess, negotiate, and agree subcontractor accounts and variations.
• Produce monthly CVRs and provide accurate commercial reporting to senior management.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support procurement activities and subcontractor selection.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
• Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, governance, and contractual obligations.

About You

You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

Essential

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, highways, utilities, water, rail, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts.

Salary is -65,000 - -75,000 + package.
