Senior Planning Lawyer

Overview
Vivid Resourcing are currently working with a District Council based in the South East of England whose expanding legal team are seeking to hire an interim planning solicitor on a 6 month rolling contract. Candidates must be available to start on full-time hours and be able to attend two planning committees each month; the position can be offered as fully remote.Responsibilities
Provide planning solicitor support within a local authority setting.Attend two planning committees in person each month (where required).Advise on complex s106 agreements, reports, appeals and enforcement matters.Supervise and mentor more junior members of staff as needed.Requirements / Qualifications
Previous experience working within a local authority setting.Extensive experience with complex s106s, reports, appeals and enforcement.Ability and willingness to supervise more junior staff.Availability to attend two planning committees in person each month.Application information
