Role: Production Operative
Location: Dudley
Hours of Work: Rotating Shift (Mornings/ Afternoons) - Mornings- Monday to Thursday- 5.40am to 1.50pm and Friday- 5.40am to 11.30am/ Afternoons- Monday to Thursday- 1.40pm to 9.50pm, Friday- 11.20am to 5.10pm
Hourly Rate: £12.21ph increasing to £13.75ph after 12-weeks

Pertemps are recruiting for experienced Production Operative to join our client in Dudley, where you''ll play a key part in producing high-quality components. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential. We are looking for hardworking, and motivated individuals to carry out a variety of production tasks within a modern and supportive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Trimming excess materials from moulding components on a conveyor line.
- Visually inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assembling small plastic parts.
- Applying leather upholstery to components in a fast-paced environment.
- Meeting daily production targets to maintain work flow.
- Using a small press to fit metal bushes into plastic moulded parts.
- Inspecting finished items and recording work volumes.
- Checking incoming parts for faults and matching to specification documents.
- Packing approved parts and reporting any defects.
- Learning and operating basic injection mould machine controls (start/stop).
