Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Lancaster
Project Duration: 26 Weeks
Start Date: 11th May (with preferred start 2 weeks prior)

Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 26-week project at Lancaster. The works include M&E installation and suspended ceilings, with a strong focus on high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure the project runs safely, on time, and within budget
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, particularly M&E and ceiling installation teams
• Ensure all works are carried out to the required quality and finishing standards
• Maintain site health & safety compliance and documentation
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Monitor progress and report on programme milestones
• Conduct site inspections and ensure snagging/finishing is completed to a high standard

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar projects
• Strong background in M&E installations and finishing works
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate effectively on site

Qualifications (Essential)

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• Valid First Aid certification

Additional Information

• Preferably available to start 2 weeks prior to project commencement for mobilisation and planning
• Experience working on university or live environments is advantageous
