Grounds Maintenance Operative / Grounds Worker Location: South Central Coverage: Kent, Sussex and London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime Contract: Permanent The Opportunity We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative / Grounds Worker to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety and cleanliness of a variety of commercial, industrial and public sector sites across Kent, Sussex and London. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and is comfortable travelling between different sites. Candidates must be happy and able to travel regularly across Kent, Sussex and London as part of the role. Key Responsibilities Grass cutting, strimming and edging Hedge cutting and general hedge maintenance Weed control and vegetation management Tree and shrub maintenance Litter picking and general site clearance Maintaining pathways, car parks and external areas Safely operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment and machinery Supporting seasonal works, including gritting and leaf clearance Assisting with landscaping and general grounds maintenance activities Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with site and company procedures Completing work records and reporting any defects or site issues to ..... full job details .....
