Financial Controller | Cheltenham | £Competitive My client is a fast-growing technology business experiencing exceptional growth, with turnover set to double from £3m to £6m this year alone.
With their current Finance Manager moving on, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function, improve business intelligence and reporting, and help shape the next stage of growth.
 
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the leadership team and supported by a Fractional CFO and Finance Administrator, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day finance function and own the month-end process
• Produce meaningful management information, dashboards and commercial reporting
• Improve the quality, accuracy and accessibility of financial data across the business
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Analyse operating costs and identify efficiency opportunities
• Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis
• Review, improve and automate finance processes using AI and technology
• Build scalable systems and controls capable of supporting continued growth
• Become a key strategic partner to the senior leadership team as the business evolves

About You
We''re keen to speak with ambitious finance professionals who can demonstrate:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong management accounting, forecasting and financial control expertise
• Experience improving reporting, MI and business intelligence
• A commercial mindset and ability to influence decision-making
• Interest and experience in process automation, AI and systems improvement
• A hands-on approach suited to a growing SME environment
• The ambition to develop into a broader strategic finance leadership role
