We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable independent garage located in Crawley, West Sussex. Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their busy team, contributing to the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles.

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs to high standards and safety regulations
• Assist with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and relevant adjustments
• Fit brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Identify additional faults during inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers and management
• Maintain accurate inspection and repair records
• Support team with other workshop responsibilities as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points (subject to licence checks)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to explain technical issues to customers
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
