An established and highly successful FMCG business is seeking an experienced Head of Transport to lead its national transport operation across multiple distribution sites.Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will take strategic responsibility for the company''s transport function, leading a team of Transport Depot Managers, Planning Managers and Compliance specialists to deliver exceptional service, operational excellence and regulatory compliance across a complex national distribution network.You will play a pivotal role in shaping the transport strategy, optimising fleet operations, improving transport KPIs and supporting the wider operational objectives of the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Commercial, Planning and Supply Chain, you will lead transport optimisation projects, develop high-performing teams and embed best practice across all depots.
