We are seeking a dedicated and motivated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming, one-form-entry primary school in Erdington, Birmingham. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and helping young learners develop the essential skills they need to succeed. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and will continue until the end of the academic year, with daily pay of up to 270 depending on experience. The Role Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum. Teach core subjects, including phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities. Assess and monitor pupil progress, identifying areas for further development. Support children''s academic, social and emotional development. Establish positive behaviour management strategies and maintain high expectations. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and attainment. The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Has a strong understanding of the KS1 National Curriculum and phonics.
