Job Title: Quality and Safety Engineer (QAandSE)Location: Based in Stone, Staffordshire (with travel to other sites and suppliers as required)Employment Type: Full-TimeSector: Energy/Renewables/Utilities/Highly Regulated Industries About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality and Safety Engineer (QAandSE) to join a dynamic Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health (QESH) team within a highly regulated industry.Reporting to the Quality and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for providing business-wide support in quality assurance and health and safety, while also supporting environmental and security matters when required.This role involves engaging with customers, establishing and maintaining QA systems, conducting inspections, and supporting the design and assembly process. On the health and safety side, you''ll be working on risk assessments, incident investigations, safe systems of work, and the development of policies and procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance of management systems with current standards, regulations, and customer requirementsSupport development and implementation of quality, safety, and business improvement strategiesLead external audits and support internal audits and assessmentsLiaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure best practices are maintainedPrepare reports and metrics for management and board-level meetingsContribute to the ongoing development and competency of the QESH teamAssis
