Job Title: SEMH Teacher of Music and Creative Digital TechnologiesLocation: IpswichStart Date: ImmediateSalary: £150 - £220JOB PURPOSE To support the aims of the school and Trust by delivering high-quality education within a caring, professional environment. Staff are expected to secure good or better outcomes for all pupils and contribute to continuous school improvement.This role includes responsibility for developing Music, Creative Digital Technologies and the wider creative arts offer, including enrichment and community partnerships.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General Responsibilities Contribute to school improvement and self-evaluation. Uphold school policies, safeguarding and behaviour systems. Support pupils pastoral and wellbeing needs. Work collaboratively with colleagues and deploy support staff effectively. Maintain high-quality learning environments. Participate fully in school life, including assemblies and enrichment. Teaching and Curriculum (Music and Creative Digital Technologies) Plan and deliver high-quality Music teaching (KS3 KS4), adapted for pupils with SEMH/SEND. Contribute to a sequenced curriculum including performance, composition, listening and music technology. Use music and digital tools to support engagement, emotional regulation and wellbeing. Teach a second subject (e.g. IT/Creative Technologies) where appropriate. Use assessment to inform planning and secure meaningful qualifications and post-16 pathways. Provide pastoral support as a form tutor
