Warehouse Operative / Picker and PackerEdenbridge, Kent£12.71 per hourTemporary seasonal work October to ChristmasWe re recruiting a team of Warehouse Operatives / Picker Packers to support a busy warehouse operation through its Christmas peak.The work will start building during October, with volumes increasing significantly from mid-November onwards.You don t need years of warehouse experience. What matters most is that you re reliable, happy being on your feet and willing to get stuck in.What you ll be doingPicking customer orders using printed order sheetsPacking products accurately and neatlyChecking product and order numbersPreparing orders ready for dispatchKeeping your work area tidy and organisedSupporting the wider warehouse team during busy periodsIt s a hands-on role and you ll be moving around throughout the day, so you ll need to be comfortable doing plenty of walking. On busy days, this could be around 20,000 steps.HoursThe standard shift will be:8:30am to 5:00pmAs Christmas gets closer, there may also be opportunities for earlier starts, later finishes, additional hours and Saturday shifts.Flexibility during the busiest part of the season will be a big advantage.What we re looking forPrevious warehouse experience is useful, but not essential.We re much more interested in people who:Turn up when they say they willAre punctual and dependableCan work at a good, steady pacePay attention to detailAre comfortable being on their feet throughout the dayAre happy ..... full job details .....
