We are currently recruiting for a Sales Order Processor to join a busy and well-established organisation based in Stonehouse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team within a fast-paced environment, with the role initially offered on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

This position would suit someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and enjoys working collaboratively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Reporting to the Sales Order Processing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders and quotations are processed efficiently and accurately, in line with company procedures and service level agreements.

You will be responsible for coordinating orders, communicating with customers and internal departments, and ensuring deadlines and expectations are consistently met.

• Processing customer orders and quotations accurately and efficiently
• Checking all incoming orders to ensure correct information is provided
• Liaising with customers regarding queries or amendments to quotations
• Ensuring all orders are processed within agreed timeframes
• Coordinating with Planning and Production teams to manage workflow
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone
• Providing general administrative support to the team

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in order processing, administration, or customer service
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A professional and confident telephone manner
• The ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
• A positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude
• Good IT and communication skills

Experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
