A growing facilities management company specialising in social housing is looking for a Bid Writer / Coordinator to join its team on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid, with office time in either of their sites in Leatherhead or Battersea, Southwest London. The business wins much of its work through competitive tenders across the public and private sectors, and this role will play a direct part in winning more of it. The successful candidate will sit at the heart of the bid function. They will write responses, coordinate input from across the business and make sure every submission is clear, compliant and competitive. They will also help decide which opportunities are worth pursuing. Key responsibilities Running bid qualification on new opportunities to assess fit, feasibility and the approach to winning Helping to shape bid strategy, win themes and key messages, and putting together bid plans with clear milestones and deadlines Coordinating bid teams so that everyone knows what is needed from them and by when Writing original, persuasive tender responses and proposals, and tailoring existing library content so it fits each bid Gathering technical and commercial information from teams across the business, including operations, finance, QHSE and ICT Managing bid administration and tender portal activity to the required standards and deadlines Reviewing submissions before they go out for accuracy, completeness and compliance Keeping accurate records of bid activity, ..... full job details .....
