Job Title: Project Manager - Environment Services Transformation Employer: Halton Borough Council Initial Placement Length: To 31st March 2026 Working Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Based in Halton (minimum of 2 days per week)About the RoleHalton Borough Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of multiple Environment Services projects, including Waste Management and Green Spaces. These projects form part of a wider Council Change and Transformation Programme, aimed at ensuring that the Council is financially responsible and sustainable.You will work closely with the Programme Manager and subject matter experts to develop and deliver a coherent programme of work. The role will also support the Environment and Regeneration Directorate in delivering change across multiple service areas, contributing to the Council''s wider transformation agenda.Initial analysis has been completed, and a series of recommendations are currently being drawn up and will shortly need to be developed into a detailed plan.Key Duties Be responsible for maintaining project documentation, plans, and registers to enable effective monitoring of progress. Ensure that project activity supports the overall project direction and that milestones and outcomes are clearly achieved.
