The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring children receive healthy, balanced meals and snacks in a safe, clean and positive kitchen environment. Previous baking experience is essential for this position. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious and balanced meals suitable for young children. Demonstrate baking skills, preparing a variety of cakes, treats and baked goods. Plan and prepare menus that meet children''s dietary and nutritional requirements. Cater for children with allergies, intolerances and specific dietary needs. Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times. Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen. Manage food preparation, storage and stock rotation. Work effectively as part of the wider nursery team. Essential Requirements: Previous experience working as a cook, chef or within a similar catering role. Practical baking experience is essential.
