Head of Operations
Our client, a leading global events organiser, is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale conferences. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of conference execution, ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget. You will develop and implement operational strategies, optimise processes, manage supplier relationships, ensure full health and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the function. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, content and logistics teams, you will play a key role in aligning operational delivery with wider commercial and strategic objectives. The role also includes leading and developing an operations team, monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets and contracts, and introducing innovative tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and delegate experience. The ideal candidate will have significant senior-level operations experience within large-scale conferences or B2B events, strong leadership capability, excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex events in fast-paced environments.
