We have a terrific opportunity available for a Procurement Category Manager in the West Sussex region. We''re looking specifically for someone from a Construction and/or Facilities Management background. This is a role within an expanding public sector procurement team. The organisation is in a very strong position with some big projects on the horizon and you will be responsible for providing procurement services across a wide spectrum of activities, including several new build projects. You will ensure that the procurement objectives of the department are achieved consistently and are in support of the strategic plan and vision. You will also be tasked with developing and managing several key supplier relationships to ensure value for money and providing technical expertise in executing end-to-end procurement processes. The team operates a hybrid working model with 1 day in the office and the expectation that you will be able to be on site whenever required for additional face-to-face meetings, planned breakfast networks, lunches and learning sessions.
