Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Elland.

Location: Elland, West Yorkshire
Salary: -46,800 per annum
Shifts: 4 Days On, 4 Days Off, 4 Nights On, 4 Days Off
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

• Fault finding and diagnosing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.

• Maintaining and repairing production machinery to minimise downtime.

• Working with motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards.

• Working closely with production teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently.

The Person

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.

• Knowledge of PLC fault finding would be advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.

• Flexible and comfortable working a rotating days and nights shift pattern.
