About the Role: This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with adults with learning disabilities, their carers, and families within the community. This role requires you to be in the office 1 day a week, with the rest of your time spent in the community. You will be undertaking reviews, safeguarding investigations and community Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Case Management: Undertake a range of tasks including investigating adult safeguarding issues, conducting assessments of need, analysis and planning, assessing and managing risk, commissioning support, and conducting reviews. Safeguarding Expertise: Identify and appropriately report children and adult safeguarding concerns, liaising with key agencies to gather information and acting as Investigating Officer as delegated. Legal Frameworks: Work with a range of legal interventions and departmental policies and procedures to support outcome-based planning for adults.
