Head of Electrical Design Job Specification We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic person who will integrate well with the current technical team and will drive design excellence standards throughout our fast growing business. Must have:Degree level qualification in electrical design or electrical/electronics engineeringCAD2D line drawings - able to produce and fault find existing drawingsMinimum 5 years'' experience in design roleExperience with BESS systems or systems with multiple electrical sourcesProject management skillsWillingness to innovate on new and existing product rangesClient presentation skills - able to present design ideas and discuss solutions with clients. Responsibilities:Job role will involve managing end-to-end design process ensuring all technical information is created as part of the design process to enable all new products to be launched onto the market in a compliant manner.Initial concept drawingsCost tracking of project through BOMComplete grading of the project against preset criteria to ensure project meets opportunity standard to move forwardProduce 3D drawing packsProduce 2D wiring schematics packsAccurately track scope changes with design change logsProduce quality control checklist for project and final productWork with the Technical team to ensure all legislation criteria for product has been met.Project management - Manage product design projects to ensure products are developed on time, in full and to budgetProduce technical doc
