Job Title: Mechanical Modifications TechniciansLocation: East YorkshireHourly Pay Rate: 20.09 Paye / 27.00 Umbrella Shifts: Minimum of 40 hours a week, potentially rising to 45 hours after 12 weeks Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 06:30 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 22:30 rotating weekly Duration: On-going contractStart Date: January 2026 Position Summary:Working at a modern Rolling Stock production facility you who will initially be engaged for the implementation of a suite of modifications for the new London Underground Stock. You will be responsible for: Carrying out mechanical and interior pre-sale modifications including underframe work Recording work via internal IT systems Carry out inspections and checks to ensure fleet reliability Identify improvements and feedback into team leader Advise and rectify any defects that are found Qualifications / Education required: Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in a Mechanical/Engineering discipline.
