Responsibilities

Usingavailablesystemstools,monitor‘yourportfolioofwines’ensuringthatreplenishmentcommitmentsareinplacetocovershortandmediumtermdemandrequirements.

Ensurethatthefollowingareconsideredduringthereviewcycle:-Stocklevels,Expectedstock,Forecast/Actualdemand,targetservicelevels,lead-times,Supplierreservesandseasonalpolicies.

Consolidateindiv idualcustomerrequirementsfornon-listedlinesandprovidehighlevelforecastinginformationdirecttosuppliers.

Liaisewithsupplierstoarrangetimesensitivedirectdeliveriesforprestigiousaccounts.

ContinuallyreviewandappraisetheagreedforecastagainstshorttermtrendsandensurethatdeviationsarecoveredandcommunicatedtotheDemandPlanner

RoutinelyreviewinventorylevelsagainstthestockplantoensurethattargetstockholdingobjectivesaremaintainedandinlinewithKPI’ssetandcommunicatedbytheSupplyChainManager.

Reviewandmonitorproductavailabilityservicelevelsandensurethattheportfoliooperateswithintheagreedtargets.

Manageorderreviewcycles,frequency,consolidationandsize(includingEOQEconomicOrderQuantity/MOQMinimumOrderQuantity)toensurethattheportfoliooperateswithintheagreedtargetobjectives.Availability,Overallstockholdingandcover,Shippingcosts

LiaisewiththeSalesteamsand(DemandPlanner)toprovideguidanceonpotentialnewbusinessorcustomerlistingrequests.

WorkcloselywiththeSalesteamstoensurethatspecificcustomerrequirementsareplannedanddeliveredalongside‘businessasususual’(newcustomers,directdeliveries,specificevents).

WorkwiththeDemandPlannerandSupplyChainManagertoensureshorttermsupplyissuesaremanagedthroughallocationstoprioritycustomers.

Incorporateconfirmednewlistingsintoshorttermreplenishmentactivitiesandensurethaton-goingdemandchangesaresharedwiththeDemandPlanner.

Prepareseasonal‘stockbuild’planstomitigatetheeffectsofpeaktradingperiodsandperiodsofproducerclosures.Sharesuchplanswith3PLpartnerstosupportcapacityplanningactivities.

Continuallyreviewexpectedarrivalsvsplannedtosupportearlycommunicationofimpendingconstraintsorshortagestothebusinessandourcustomers.

WorkcloselywithSalesTeams,BrandManagementandtheDemandPlannertoassistwithtenderresponseactivitiesandtheprovisionofadviceonspecificproposedwines.

Considertheimpactonourenvironmentandchallengecurrentmethodswherealessharmfulapproachmaybeavailable

Qualifications

Experienceindemandandsupplyplanningenvironment.

ExperienceusingERPandreplenishmentmodellingsoftwarepackages.

IntermediateExcel

Goodknowledgeandunderstandingofreplenishment/forecastplanningprocesseswithinthefood/drinksindustry.

Attentiontodetailandnumericalaccuracy

Timemanagement,self-startercanworkwithoutsupervisionandcapableofmakingdecisions
