Job Description: Airside Driver Location: Airport Airside (Security Restricted Area) Contract Type: Temp to Perm Shift Pattern: 4 on / 2 off Shift Length: 8.5 hours per shift Shift Types: Mixture of earlies and lates Pay and Overtime Monday to Friday: Basic Pay Rate 1.5 Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays: Basic Pay Rate 2 Role Overview We are recruiting Airside Drivers to work within a secure airport environment. The role involves operating a variety of vehicles airside, ensuring strict adherence to aviation safety, security regulations, and operational procedures. This is a fast-paced, safety-critical role requiring reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail. Minimum Licence and Experience Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following criteria: HGV Class 2 / Category C licence - Experience driving vehicles over 18 tonnes, OR Bus / Coach Driver - Minimum 2 years experience, ideally including double-deck vehicles, OR 7.5 Tonne Driver - Minimum 2 years experience Desirable Experience Previous airside driving experience, particularly on vehicles over 18 tonnes Experience working in regulated or high-security environments Skills and Personal Attributes Good level of physical fitness essential Ability to understand and follow instructions Strong written and verbal communication skills High sense of ownership and responsibility Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines Strong commitment to Health and Safety compliance at all times S
