Their services include NDT, anodising, passivation, chemical conversion coatings and specialist aerospace painting. They hold Nadcap accreditation for Chemical Processing and NDT. Following significant growth over the past 12 months, our client is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead their day-to-day production operation. The role Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage the shop-floor team, keep work moving through production and ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and compliance. Key responsibilities Lead the production team and coordinate daily shop-floor activity. Plan workloads, manage work in progress and monitor capacity to meet customer delivery dates, including urgent requirements. Run daily production meetings and communicate priorities across the team. Identify bottlenecks, delays and quality issues early, then take corrective action. Work closely with Inspection, Quality, Technical and Commercial teams. Maintain standards of health and safety, housekeeping and compliance with customer specifications and internal procedures. Monitor productivity, labour use, overtime, rejects and rework.
