They currently need an additional two Toolmakers to join their team. Key Requirements needed for Tool Maker applicants: Proven experience working as a Toolmaker. Previous experience working as a Bench Fitter/Mechanical Fitter, building and assembling mechanical products. Happy to work in an open workshop with other engineers (being a team player is key to success in this role) Ability to work to technical drawings and manufacturing processes. When needed, be self-sufficient and maintain own workload throughout the day with limited support. Experience operating a variety of typical hand tools and machinery needed in tool making trade (Mills, Lathes, Grinders) Key Responsibilities for the Tool Maker vacancy: Ability to operate manual machinery such as Mills, Lathes, Grinders etc. Responsible for creating the jigs, moulds and fixtures used to assist in the manufacturing process.
