Senior Chartered Building Surveyor
Conrad Consulting is delighted to be working with a highly regarded multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy seeking a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established Oxford team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor looking to take the next step within a well-respected consultancy delivering high-quality professional and project-led services across a wide variety of sectors including education, healthcare, residential, commercial, retail, and public sector estates.
The successful candidate will become a key member of a collaborative team, working on a diverse range of projects from smaller refurbishment schemes through to major developments valued in excess of £30 million.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services across multiple sectors
- Lead on project delivery and contract administration duties
- Undertake condition surveys, measured surveys, and defect diagnosis reports
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and technical documentation
- Advise clients on maintenance, refurbishment, repair, and compliance matters
- Manage dilapidations, Party Wall matters, and planning applications
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and act as lead consultant where required
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor junior members of the Building Surveying team
- Ensure high standards of technical quality and service delivery
Requirements
- MRICS qualified
- Previous consultancy experience within Building Surveying
- Strong technical understanding across core Building Surveying disciplines
- Experience delivering both professional and project work
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Commercial awareness and business development capability
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Full UK driving licence
