Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School | Brent | September 2025 Start

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Brent, seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2025. This full-time role is ideal for graduates from any discipline who are eager to gain valuable, hands-on experience in a school environment.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support class teachers across a range of subjects.

• Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to help them access the curriculum.

• Assist with classroom management and lesson preparation.

• Provide tailored support for students with additional needs (including SEND, EAL, or those requiring extra academic support).

• Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

• Act as a positive role model and contribute to students'' personal and academic development.

• A recent university degree (all subjects welcome).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, proactive, and resilient approach.

• Some experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, youth work) - formal or informal.

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above).

• A genuine interest in education and a desire to make a difference.

• A supportive and dynamic school environment in the heart of Brent.
