Van Driver - Dartford

£14.50 per hour | Full Time | Ongoing Work | Immediate Start Available

We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our client based in Dartford, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver, Delivery Driver, or 3.5 Tonne Driver looking for ongoing work with a reputable company.

 

Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm

Start: training starts on Tuesday 1st September 

Pay rate: £14.50 per hour, weekly pay, PAYE via Pertemps 

 

Van Driver The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of high-value goods across the South East, London and surrounding areas using a half-refrigerated van. You will provide excellent customer service while ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and securely.

Van Driver Responsibilities

• Delivering high-value goods to commercial customers
  
  
• Driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van
  
  
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
  
  
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
  
  
• Obtaining proof of delivery and completing relevant paperwork
  
  
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
  
  
• Following all road transport and health & safety regulations
  
  

Van Driver Job Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
  
  
• Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Driver, Courier Driver, or 3.5 Tonne Driver
  
  
• No more than 6 penalty points
  
  
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
