An established metal recycling company based in the Stratford upon Avon area requires an experienced maintenance fitter with welding experience. Duties: Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment, including shredders, conveyors, and all manner of recycling plant equipment. Plant safety inspections. MIG and arc welding on plant. Requirements: Experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant equipment preferably in a scrapyard / recycling environment. Mechanical fitting experience essential. MIG and arc welding experience esential. Own tools required. Own transport required due to company location. Hours: 6am to 2pm and 12 Noon to 8pm Monday to Friday. (Alternating shifts) Overtime available after 40 hours. This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
