We are looking for an experienced and proactive
Multi-Skilled Engineer
to join our Facilities Management team, providing both planned and reactive maintenance services across a variety of commercial properties. This is a hands-on role requiring a flexible approach and the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of building services issues.Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across electrical, mechanical, and building fabric disciplines.Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in building systems, implementing effective solutions.Undertake basic electrical and mechanical works in compliance with relevant regulations.Liaise with clients and site staff to ensure minimal disruption to operations.Keep accurate maintenance records and complete job reports.Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and statutory compliance.Assist in the coordination of specialist contractors when required.Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a Facilities Management environment.Strong working knowledge of building systems – ideally with an electrical or mechanical bias.Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.Recognised trade qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) in electrical, mechanical, or building services.17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable if electrically biased).Full UK driving licence (may be required depending on role).
