AC/DC Test Engineer Electrical Engineering and SwitchgearSalary: 30,000- 35,000 DOE + OvertimeLocation: Hove, East SussexContract: Permanent, full-timeHours: 37.5 per weekI''m currently recruiting for an AC/DC Test Engineer to join an established engineering business specialising in electrical switchgear and control systems.This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer with hands-on testing experience to join a specialist engineering team, taking responsibility for testing, inspection and verification of electrical switchgear assemblies and associated equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out electrical and functional testing of switchgear assemblies, panels and associated equipment.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.Undertake fault finding, diagnostics and investigation of technical issues.Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.Verify completed products against approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.Identify and raise non-conformances, supporting investigations and corrective actions.Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.Contribute to continuous improvement and the development of test procedures.Support occasional customer site visits for testing, commissioning and technical investigations.What We''re Looking ForPrevious electrical or electro-mechanical testing experience.Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic ..... full job details .....
