The role

Our Cloud Platform team empowers developers to build and deploy their applications swiftly, securely, and seamlessly. As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you''ll be deep in Prolific''s technical foundation, ensuring our infrastructure remains scalable, reliable, and ready for growth. You''ll implement automation strategies that reduce complexity, champion best practices, and serve as a trusted technical expert to teams across Prolific.

What you''ll bring to the role

Extensive experience administering and optimising large-scale Kubernetes clustersStrong experience with Kubernetes tooling, such as Helm and kustomizeStrong experience with GitOps tooling and methodologies, such as ArgoCDProven experience with Google Cloud Platform services and architectureStrong knowledge in GKE and Kubernetes, including maintenance and optimisation of production clustersStrong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automationSolid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScriptExperience creating developer-focused documentation and self-service solutions that enable teams to easily self-serveStrong customer empathy, with a focus on supporting the needs of internal teams (our Prolificos)

What you''ll be doing in the role

Manage and optimise our Kubernetes clusters in GKE through TerraformSupport our compliance with SOC2, ISO-27001, and Cyber Essentials standards in our cloud environmentsDesign and implement golden paths and automation strategies that empower developers to self-serve while reducing operational complexityCreate and maintain infrastructure solutions that allow development teams to build and deploy safely, easily, and efficientlyServe as the technical point-of-contact for GCP and Kubernetes-related queries, providing expertise to other Prolificos

We''re a multi-cloud team - experience with AWS and CDK is a big plus.Experience implementing/maintaining cloud compliance standards (SOC2, ISO-27001)Familiarity with observability tools like DatadogBackground in implementing security best practices in cloud infrastructure
