Transport Manager / Transport Supervisor Road Surfacing and Infrastructure Contractor Location: Harrow Salary: £50,000-£55,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm Contract: Full-time, Permanent Compliance Level: FORS SilverThe Role A well-established road surfacing and infrastructure contractor is seeking a Transport Manager or Transport Supervisor to oversee and develop its transport operations. This role is suitable for either a Qualified Transport Manager to be named on the company''s Operator''s Licence, or a Transport Supervisor looking to progress and achieve their Transport Manager CPC qualification. You will be responsible for the compliant, safe, and efficient management of a diverse fleet of HGVs, light commercial vehicles, and plant machinery, playing a key role in supporting day-to-day operations and future business growth.About the Operation Fleet of approximately 30 HGVs including tippers, grabs, gully suckers, sweepers, and low loaders Around 40 light commercial vehicles, including vans and dropsides Over 60 items of plant machinery, including pavers, planers, excavators, rollers, and associated equipment In-house workshop supported by experienced mechanics Operating at FORS Silver accreditation levelKey Responsibilities Manage driver compliance in line with DVSA legislation and company policies Take responsibility for the Operator''s Licence, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance Oversee fleet and plant maintenance, servicing, inspections,
