Customer Service Executive – About the Company

Our client is a successful and growing business based in Stevenage, supplying products and solutions to customers across the UK and internationally.

They are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join their established team. This is a varied role covering customer service, account management, administration and commercial support, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of B2B customers.

You''ll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring orders are handled smoothly, queries are resolved promptly and opportunities to support account growth are identified.

• Monday to Friday, full-time
• Based in Stevenage
• £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Customer Service Executive – Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts and act as their main point of contact
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Handle customer enquiries, requests and complaints promptly and professionally
• Proactively contact customers to understand their needs and maintain engagement
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and account growth
• Re-engage inactive or declining accounts
• Promote new products, offers and campaigns
• Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements
• Maintain accurate customer and order records
• Work with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service levels
• Share customer feedback and commercial opportunities with the wider business

Customer Service Executive – What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience in customer service, account management or a similar customer-facing role
• Confident communication skills and an ability to build relationships
• Customer-focused with good commercial awareness
