Credit Controller
Our client, a well established medium sized, forward thinking business, are looking for a credit controller to come in and help them out initially on a temporary basis. Client Details Our client is based in Burton on Trent, they offer hybrid working (3 days office 2 days home) and 9-5 working hours. Description Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments are received. Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment queries. Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records are maintained. Prepare reports on outstanding debts and update internal systems regularly. Work closely with the finance team to address account discrepancies. Assist in developing and improving credit control processes. Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Profile A successful Credit Controller should have: Previous experience in a credit control or similar role. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial records. A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving payment issues. Job Offer Annual salary of around £30,000, plus holiday pay. Temporary position offering flexibility in Burton-on-Trent.
