The Role

You’ll join the electrical team in the Oxford area, delivering projects from early-stage concepts through to completion. The role focuses on producing high-quality electrical design and providing technical expertise within the built environment.
Key responsibilities:

- Delivering projects to high technical standards, on programme and within budget
- Producing detailed designs, drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
- Liaising with clients to understand briefs, budgets and design requirements
- Reviewing tenders, preparing technical reports and supporting recommendations
- Managing site activities, monitoring progress and assisting with final accounts
- Carrying out site surveys, inspections and producing condition reports
- Preparing technical documentation, presentations and supporting reports
- Coordinating with other disciplines on electrical distribution and building systems
- Staying informed on legislation, building regulations, CIBSE guidance and best practice

Some projects may require background or security checks.

What They’re Looking For

- Degree or Master’s in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Working towards or already holding membership with a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong understanding of building regulations, CIBSE standards and industry guidance
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Passion for delivering efficient, practical and innovative design solutions
