We are working on behalf of our clinet and currently looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to support a growing programme of domestic retrofit and energy efficiency works across South Wales.

Our client has recently secured an additional 39 properties and is looking to expand its team to support the delivery of these projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in social housing, domestic retrofit or residential refurbishment to join an established team, overseeing works across multiple occupied properties.

The role will be predominantly site-based, covering the NP16 postcode area and surrounding locations. All properties are located within approximately 20 minutes of each other, allowing for efficient travel between sites. A site office will also be available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of domestic retrofit and energy efficiency works across multiple residential properties.

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

  • Carry out regular site inspections, monitoring progress and identifying any defects or issues.

  • Ensure all works comply with relevant health and safety regulations, including RAMS and site procedures.

  • Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays and work with the wider team to resolve issues.

  • Liaise with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and minimise disruption.

  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, photographic evidence and quality documentation.

  • Ensure completed works meet the required standards and support successful property handovers.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within construction, housing or domestic retrofit.

  • Experience overseeing multiple properties and managing subcontractors.

  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements, including RAMS and site compliance.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification.

  • Valid CSCS card.

Desirable:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification.

  • Experience within social housing and occupied residential properties.

  • Knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 requirements.

  • Previous experience overseeing energy efficiency and domestic retrofit installations.

  • Experience managing insulation, heating upgrades or renewable energy projects.

  • First Aid qualification.

  • Experience working on government-funded retrofit programmes.
