Rest assured, all final decisions are made by our hiring team, and your application will be reviewed with care and attention.The role:You''ll support the Quantity Surveyors and the Lead Quantity Surveyors with the contract placement and contract management activities related to packages/sub-projectsResponsibilities:Supporting the contractor payment application process and assisting with cost audits.Assist in reviewing contractor entitlements and assessing the time and cost impact of compensation events.Helping your project team develop and maintain cost forecasts.With the support of more senior colleagues, taking sole responsibility for smaller contracts. That form part of a larger project feeding into a single programme of works.Supporting the project team with remaining in compliance with the relevant contractual timescales and with National Grid governance processes.Participating in contract risk reviews.Building strong relationships with and help facilitate good communication between a wide range of stakeholders, including Project Managers, Planners, Senior Quantity Surveyors and Contractor personnel.Proactively asking for support.
