This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK''s most significant construction programmes, managing the cost and contract management aspects of work packages from initiation through to close-out.Key Responsibilities:Administer contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub-contractorsAdminister incentivisation arrangements as appropriateSupport the assessment of the package and compensation eventsProvide regular cash flow forecasts of expenditure for the packageReport expenditure against the package budget on a monthly basisContribute to the monthly consolidated project-wide cost/expenditure reportAssess potential contractor and supplier claims and make recommendations for settlementFinalise contractor accounts and close out contracts for the projectSupport the audit team with defined cost auditing as required, and audit of the final account packRaise consultant, supplier or contractor instructions as necessary, taking these through the change management process for approval by the Senior Leadership Team and ClientReport on expenditure of financial contingency built into relevant packagesProvide schedules of rates and commercial input to tender documentationUndertake cost analysis of bid returnsAssist the package project ..... full job details .....
