Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker for our client based out of Castle Donington. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and technical drawings. Utilise sheet metal techniques to cut, grind, weld, and shape materials as required. Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to ensure precision in work output. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in metalworking Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery relevant to metal fabrication. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work - City and Guilds Certification Advanced Certificate in Fabrication Studies or Level 3 Qualified in Welding and Fabrication 07:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday, 12:00 Friday. Will move over to 2 rotating shifts below once passed probation. - Monday to Thursday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm - Monday to Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
