You are organised, confident using Excel, and happy being mainly office based with the occasional site visit when needed.Your experienceYou will likely be working as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready for the next step within a main contractor environment.Experience within fit out, refurbishment or general build projects will serve you well here. The work often involves healthcare and medical centre projects, although the contractor delivers other types of construction work too.You are comfortable commercially managing multiple jobs at the same time. Typical values range from around £50k up to £2m, with the occasional larger project reaching £8m.A heavy civil engineering background will not be the right fit for this position. The focus here is building and interior construction.Good Excel skills are important as the commercial work is managed through spreadsheets rather
