The Role

• Supporting the Store Manager in the overall leadership and performance of the store.

• Taking ownership of daily operations and ensuring the business runs efficiently.

• Driving sales, productivity and commercial performance through effective team leadership.

• Coaching, developing and motivating colleagues to reach their full potential.

• Managing staffing levels, rotas and daily workload to meet business demands.

• Maintaining excellent standards across merchandising, stock management and store presentation.

• Leading by example on the shop floor, particularly during busy trading periods.

• Deputising for the Store Manager when required.

About You

• Previous experience in an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or experienced Supervisor role.

• A background in fast-paced, high-volume retail is essential.

• Confident leading teams and managing busy operational environments.

• Commercially aware with an understanding of sales performance and KPIs.

• Strong people management skills with the ability to coach and develop others.

• Organised, proactive and able to make decisions under pressure.

• A hands-on leader who leads from the front and takes pride in high standards.
