Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to work in a modern workshop, producing accurate repair estimates and ensuring efficient repair processes for a variety of vehicles. Key Responsibilities Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex (or similar estimating systems). Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers. Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work. Work closely with workshop teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and industry regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within a bodyshop or accident repair environment. ATA VDA Accreditation (desirable but not essential for experienced candidates). Strong knowledge of modern repair methods and estimating software.
