The Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor is looking for a Head Chef who will be responsible for ensuring maximum guest satisfaction by planning, organising, directing and controlling food production for the Retrouve and Bombay Pavilion. Ideal candidate must have minimum 3 years of Head Chef experience in the Hospitality field.The key Responsibilities will include:Manage all production functions of the kitchen and the kitchen staff.Motivate, develop and train supervisors and culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standardsExhibit exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment, counselling employees as appropriate and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management.Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are metEnsure the correct procedures are followed while maintaining high standards at all timesActively involved in menu development and calculates food costs for all menu itemsEnsuring compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety requirementEssential skills required:Has experience and understanding of food mass production.Passionate about food, with a charismatic, vibrant and high energy approachExcellent knowledge of food hygiene and handling complex dietary requirements including allergies and intolerancesExperience in leading, motivating and inspiring a teamPerformance, achievement and results drivenAbout the HotelThe Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor is ideally situated, close to historical Windsor and the prestigious Slough Trading Estate.
