Salary: -33,000 - -40,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

An established and highly respected distributor within the construction industry is looking to recruit an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join its growing team in Barking.

The company supplies a wide range of specialist products across insulation, drylining, HVAC, technical insulation, roofing, fire protection, building envelopes, offsite construction, and modular building sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to develop their career within a supportive and expanding business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in generating revenue, developing customer relationships, winning new business, and providing expert product support to customers within the insulation and drylining markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new sales opportunities to drive business growth.
• Generate leads and proactively engage with prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing client accounts.
• Prepare accurate quotations and provide product recommendations and advice.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company''s products and services.
• Stay informed of industry developments, market trends, and new product innovations.
• Work towards achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and forecasts within the CRM system.
• Offer credit facilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Produce regular sales reports and revenue forecasts for management.
• Deliver a high level of customer service and support throughout the sales process.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in an Internal Sales position.
• Experience within the construction industry would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of insulation, drylining, or building materials products is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded, target-driven, and proactive in approach.
• Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to analyse sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits
